I am a historian, educator, and public scholar with over a decade of experience in historical research, public history practice, and cultural education. Specializing in African American history, heritage tourism, and community storytelling, I hold a Ph.D. in History from Liberty University, an M.A. in Public History from Southern New Hampshire University, and a B.A. in History from UNC-Charlotte.

My scholarship focuses on African American travel, memory, and place—particularly through my dissertation on The Negro Motorist Green Book in South Carolina. I have served in various museum, academic, and administrative roles, bringing history to life through exhibits, lectures, digital storytelling, and curated travel experiences.
